Novice Web Dev

The Novice Web Development course is designed for students with little to no expereience in web development. By the end of the course, students should understand basic UX principles, wireframes, how to write HTML & CSS code and work with a team of their peers to create a 5-page website. This course and competition category is offered for high school students (grades 9th-12th).

Students may then enter their website and complete an online interview for a chance to win an all-expense-paid trip to San Francisco. While in San Francisco, students will tour tech companies such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Google and Pivotal Labs.
